Yes 1v1 would create an enviroment where there are a lot of useless spamming of insults and such and also you couldn't depend on anyone else elimating teamwork.

why not have it this way to prevent most spammers and crap like that, in order to acess 1v1 is to win a certain amount of team/random arena battles, most spammers are noobs so they will try to "ride" on the fortune of good players and/or hope that the team will go againt a noob team, in the end the players who actually are good will have gotten there ages before the noobs so when noobspammers eventually get there they will be hit down hard, don't u think that they won't play 1v1 after that?
